When Success Meets Temptation

I’m a man with a stable life, approaching 40, running my own business, raising a family. Things were going well — until personal complications started sneaking in, mostly involving women.
One particular incident began when a young woman I had recently met began texting me frequently, even though she knew I had a wife and children. When I reminded her of that, she snapped, “So having a wife and kids means you stop noticing women altogether?” She spoke as though life had made her immune to consequences. Her messages became more intense. She claimed she had developed feelings and said she couldn’t stop thinking about me — that she wished I were by her side.
